DOCTRINE OF CHRIST
Doctrine of Christ – Six Major Points – Hebrews 6:1-3 (KJV)
1. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2. Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3. And this will we do, if God permit.
Notice how the Old Testament scriptures coincide and support the New Testament scriptures. Also note that these passages are included in Hebrews 6:1-3.

Hebrews 5:12-14 (KJV) – (New Testament)

Hebrews 4:12-13 (KJV) – (New Testament)
12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

1 Peter 3:15 (KJV) – (New Testament)
15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
